We went out to Black Angus for dinner tonight. No one was home except for Gary and I. Now I know what all of the snowbirds do in Arizona. The place was just packed. Boy are they picky too. Can you seat four extra people that we didn't make reservations for, can you split our bill that we forgot to tell you about in the first place. Boy, would I hate to be a waitress on Christmas Eve in Mesa. I sure hope they tip well. Then after dinner we had to get some last minute groceries for breakfast. Well Gary went for groceries while I wrapped his last couple of presents (the big one that has been in the car, hoped I would have help to get it out, nope no help). Well two out of the three grocery stores were closed and he barely made the third. What could we have been thinking. Maybe we do belong in the snowbird catagory!!!! We sure aren't in the prepared category. Oh yeah, did I mention that I am drying marshmallows in the oven for the marshmallow guns. Can't wait for tomorrow. Wish all of the kids were here. We are looking forward to having Travis and Reilly and their boys over as well as Chad. Angela and her boyfriend Scott will be over as well. We want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!! Especially our kids in New York (we miss you!!!!).

Shanna, Gregg & Paige

Shanna came down with her family to spend time in AZ for the Christmas holiday. It was so nice to spend an evening with them. We got to have our own little Christmas celebration and dinner with their family. It was so nice. Watching Paige open presents was so much fun. We had to have all of the dogs present you know. Peeper hates to be left out of anything. But just watching Paige play with the toys and get excited over her books was such a joy. We so miss having her closer but know that her Grandma & Grandpa Scott would feel the same way if she were here. Her smile and those cheeks can make any Nana and Grandpa melt.

Did you check out my new coat. I love it. I just have to run around in it till I get to go outside. I just love the hat too.

Tink couldn't get enough of her coat and hat this past week. She loved to put them on and wear them around. Usually it's a big pain to get her to even wear a jacket with a hood. I guess she knew that she was looking good when we put this little fleece number on. Did she think it was real or what?! She is so funny.

It is my first Christmas that I am able to open presents myself. I got this great rocking bike, trike from my Great-Grandpa and Great-Grandma. Isn't it cool!! I can even rock it myself when I put my mind to it. I even through a fit when Grandpa took me off of it to open my other presents.

Hellooooo.....
Hellooooo.....
I must take after my Nana. I can't decide which phone to talk on!!
Maybe I'll talk on both.

Paige and Mackenzie - See them grow (and Tommy)

Here are Paige and Mackenzie with their Auntie Reilly when they were 3 months old. (Tommy was their too, but you just couldn't quite see him yet)

Now here are Paige and Mackenzie today with Grandpa and they are 1 year old. Boy how they have grown. Time has flown by.

And the girls taking their first bath together. Paige loved the ABC's that stuck on the side of the bathtub, so Nana had to find her a set to take home to her bath. It was so fun to watch them both in the tub. The had such fun. Although Tink (Mackenzie) is so much more rambunctious than Paige. Paige just sits back and takes it all in.

Fun Faces

This is Grandpa's favorite pastime with all the Grandkids

Do you think I have the hang of it yet Grandpa. We have been going over this for a while now and I know that I have the beat down. I don't throw the sticks that much. Nana hasn't come in to tell us to turn the music down so we must be doing something wrong.

No this is not the magnet off of the dishwasher telling you if the dishes are clean or dirty. This is my "Get Smart" phone. It is my next mission telling me what cupboard I should invade next and completely empty onto the kitchen floor.

Halloween 2008

Mackenzie's Halloween costume was picked out by Auntie Angela. We were shopping sales at the mall and she saw this Penquin costume. Well she just said Tink had to have it. Couldn't have been cuter. Well now you can see why. It was adorable for her first Halloween. Melissa thought so too.
